OUR 2021 EVENTS COVID-19 POLICY APPLIES TO ANYONE WHO ENTERED ONE OF OUR 2021 EVENTS BETWEEN 1ST MARCH 2020 AND 8TH AUGUST 2021. OUR NORMAL T&C’S APPLY TO ANYONE WHO ENTERED AN EVENT OUTSIDE OF THESE DATES.
Since March 2020 we introduced a ‘no quibbles’ deferral policy for entrants, but as Government Covid-19 policies have developed with various tiering systems now in place throughout the UK, we have updated our T&Cs to provide further reassurances to those of you looking to purchase an entry to one of our events.
No quibbles deferrals:
Entrants will be eligible for a ‘no quibbles’ deferral to an alternative event in 2021 of a similar value or the equivalent event in 2022. For this to be valid, we must receive notification of intention to defer by email at least 2 weeks prior to race day to email@example.com
If on race day you reside within an area that is subject to travel restrictions (at the time of writing, Tier 3 and over in Scotland, Tier 3 of Lockdown in England, Lockdown in Wales) you will be eligible for a full refund (less booking fees) but you must notify us by email before event day to firstname.lastname@example.org to be eligible.
You have Covid-19 symptoms or someone in your household has
We will offer you a deferral to an alternative event in 2021 of a similar value or the equivalent event in 2022. We must still receive notification of intention to defer by email in advance of race day to email@example.com
If we cancel:
If we have to cancel our events, full refund (less booking fee) or deferral to the equivalent event in 2022 will be offered to entrants.
We should finish this by saying that we’re staying positive and aiming to deliver our events as planned. This situation must end at some point and life will return to something that looks a bit more normal. We love what we do and want to make sure we can keep doing it! It’s a pretty horrible time for us and everyone else in the events industry and we really do appreciate your continued support and understanding at this difficult time.
